Who has used Uber?

Just saw an ad for Uber my page and it made me wonder who has used it.  I tried it for the 1st time last month and was pleasantly surprised with the experience.  I think Uber will make the cab companies realize they need to step up their game.  Kudo's to cabbies who are hard working and honest, but the Uber model is SO much better for the consumer

I personally haven't but I know many who have (and Lyft) and love it.

I love using Uber. I have used it locally, in other states, and even in other countries like Belgium. We don't have taxis where I live so it's a great affordable option for getting around.

I have, I have driven a few times too.  Doesn't really pay anymore since the market is so overfull of drivers.

I saw a Uber van the other night on my way home was really surprised to see one here in Middle TN.

Not me we live in a rural and it would cost a fortune for someone to drive me 167 miles one way to see my doctor. So we drive. If God forbid something should happen to hubby I would take the bus and then grab another bus in town to get to where I need to be. I know the routes well after living there 13 years. It was so easy getting around.

I have used uber a few months ago. It was pleasant. I did not have any problem with driver nor the company.

I own my car so I dont need uber. The news keeps reporting incidents like this week when six people were shot by a uber driver

Never used them and don't plan on it but I have thought at one time maybe working for them but don't own a car I have a truck.

I used Uber once on my trip to disney... I was also pleasantly surprised! $12 fair compared to a $40 fair is awesome! And my 1st fair was free... just tipped the guy! I thought it was a great experience and will use it more often when traveling and locally!

Yes, I have and it was a good  experience I think I now prefer them over  taxicabs.

Yes, depending on where you live you might have very different opinions about it.  I don't mean to sound insensitive, but if you ask someone who lives in the Kalamazoo, MI area about Uber, you might get a completely different perspective than someone in say, Pittsburgh, PA.  (Just picked that second city at random).


I don't have any personal experience with it myself, but have heard that a lot of people are making some very good pocket change as drivers.

I live in a smaller city...we don't have uber...but I'd probabaly use it...as I take quite few taxis.  Take care all..

I haven't used it. But I know of friends who have and they love it.  They tell me it's so convenient and easy to use.
