Thoughts about the changes: touchbacks, no chop blocks, ejections for two unsportsmanlike conducts?

I am not a football guy, but I would guess those rule changes are similar to what's going on in MLB.  To me it's despicable what is happening in all sports.  They use to be sports for men and to maintain a PG rating I won't say what they are turning it into or what I think of it.

I think the chop block ban across the board is a good change; I am not so sure about the other two.

In theory, I like the two personal foul automatic ejection rule, but in practice, I think personal foul calls are so often borderline judgment calls and I can see many situations where players might get the auto ejection when they probably shouldn't and others where player should get the ejection and don't. It leave everything up to the referee's opinion.  But at the same time, baseball refs are very prone to making a quick ejection of a player arguing *bleep* and strikes; and NBA refs sometimes are quick on the trigger to call technical fouls.

I think the new touchback rule is ridiculous.  They are trying to increase safety because statistically speaking, kickoff returns are some of the most dangerous plays in football.  By bringing it out to the 25 yard line instead of the 20, they are encouraging kick returners to take a knee in the end zone rather than run it out.  But this also incentivizes kickers to kick the ball just a bit shy of the end zone in hopes of pinning the other team back.  Rather than resulting in more touchbacks (thus safer kickoff plays), I think it will result in less touchbacks and MORE dangerous plays...

Just my opinions.   :-\

I wish they would figure out what is a catch versus what is a dropped pass. That seems to be the biggest problem.

Some teams are in a need of a qb.  RG3 signed with the browns.

I think ten forcing rules is a good thing but just like taking fighting out of hockey, it changes the sport!
