I sell on Ebay. I love Etsy for unique things. And Amazon is good for books.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

Etsy is mostly for handmade stuff. I'd rather sell on Amazon or eBay.

I've had some issued with buying from eBay and getting something that isn't what I thought I was ordering.

I've sold on eBay and Etsy before, and I love buying from Etsy and Amazon.
The only problem with Etsy is everything is handmade, and therefore much more expensive. Sometimes I can't pass up a beautifully handmade item though!

I just purchased a round white rug from China off Ebay.
The picture looked like a beautiful small white rug & for $10 quite a bargain... exactly what I wanted. When it came, it was horrible.  Horrible quality, it was yellow colored, with white border -- can't use it at all... looked nothing like the picture.  So I filed a SNAD case.  & in order for me to be refunded, I would need to send the rug back to China with tracking that was over $30.   The seller didn't have to send a label for a return, which is required of American sellers.  The Chinese sellers have government subsidized shipping which is next to nothing to send to America which also gets USPS tracking for free.  Ebay has negotiated with the USPS virtually free postage for the Chinese sellers in something called epackets...  they do nothing for American sellers.  Ebay to me has become a big scam market, with no regulation.   So eventually, even though I have tons of pictures of the "rug" -- not the same as in the picture at all, except they are both round, ebay finds in the seller's favor to let him keep my money, then they have the gall to say that they found the item to be the same AND then the Chinese seller, acts like some injured party that I was ruining his good name & practices..  I wish I could have put it on a credit card directly & not through paypal, my credit card company would have found in my favor for fraud.  Such a scam.   Ever since then... just last month, I am completely over ebay -- it is just not safe to buy on there any longer.   I buy a lot on line, used to buy a lot on ebay... that item was the last straw.

 I feel safer using Amazon.

I say sell your products on as many platforms as you can - Shopify, Etsy, Tripleclicks, Amazon. Some sites don't have listing fees (Tripleclicks), so those are the sites I'd say you should definitely list your products on. You only pay when you sell a product.

Your income is directly related to your philosophy, NOT the economy. - Jim Rohn

I have sold some items on ebay, but they just seem to keep  going up on their fees, buy lot from Amazon. Now thinking about selling my  gourds on etsy.  But I need to buy a new printer and stuff as  all I have is a cheapie So next time I go to Sam's club I will be looking at some new printers and also a  tower. But I also need to get busy and start  some more gourds.
