If the food was good the first time, it will be good the 2nd time.  That is my thought.

I think leftovers are a great way to save money, but you do have to plan ahead and keep some variety. Otherwise, the temptation is to eat something different, and the leftovers eventually go bad. Some leftovers are great and even more tasty the next day and are versatile too.

Of course I eat leftovers!   It is easy to just reheat and have a quick meal.
Sometimes, I use the leftovers to create a different dish.....leftover pork roast becomes BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, for example.

It depends on what the left over is. I like left over chili and most pasta dishes. I can only eat left overs if it is from the day before. Once it is the second or third day, I have to throw it out because in my head I think it is bad.

Oh you bet! Food is expensive.  For me, what a waste it would be to throw out leftovers.

Plus, some leftovers taste even better the next day. I have learned to perk them up with something else added to them, herbs etc.

I often cook enough to last a few days, and just enjoy them all over again the next day.

At my house there in no such thing as left overs. The boys eat everything. And if there is rarely any leftovers, they will eat it after school the following day. But yes it does save your a lot instead of eating out daily.

I adore driving home knowing that there are things I can eat right away just by heating up, even though I do like cooking.

I'm a big fan of leftovers. I'm glad to see so many FCers are leftover devotees as well.
