Are you familiar with Verizon Fios?

I am moving from an apartment complex who has Time Warner to one that has Verizon Fios.... for some reason it seems to me that Fios has a slower internet, no cable... and I am just trying to figure out if it is any good?

Anyone has it and can tell me their experience?

I would love to get it but it is not available where we live. I do know several people that do have it and love it.

I have had Frontier FIOS for the last year and love it, I'm not sure if they are related. I have Internet only at the middle speed for $39 a month.

Ok thank you because I have no idea of HOW it is.... but it seemed worse than Time Warner (and I did not like TW that much)..... more than TV I was concerned about internet!!! I don't want a slow navigation... it's 2016!!!

According to http://speedtest.net I get 25 Mbps downloads and 10 Mbps uploads with FIOS.

And it does not look "too slow" for you? I guess I will find out next week... when I move into that new apartment and I will have a slower internet connection.. Fingers crossed

I'm not familiar with Verizon Fios. But if Google Fiber is available in your area, I'd go with them instead since they have one of the fastest speeds available at 1 gigabit for download and upload speeds.

I heard mostly a lot of bad things about TWC.. Did a quality research about their company in 2015 and they had one of the lowest customer service rating (that or Comcast)

I am having a really bad experience with Verizon /Fios... our internet is slow... customer service is horrible and gives wrong info all the time.... I seriously miss TWC and now I am stuck with them instead.. so sad

We have always had Verizon Fios and no problems, it works for us and is pretty fast.

I wish we had Verizon Fios or even Google Fiber in my area. We'll actually have some awesome internet.
