chef comes out of the kitchen

there are times when a chef comes out to mingle with the customers.
I have noticed that the manager goes around more often though.
the chef can get a lot of feedback when he does come out.
you wonder sometimes if he listens to the criticism.
to take criticism constructively, you listen to the comment and make the changes on the menu.
some restaurants and dining rooms put a display out for customers to see.
that helps a customer decide.
last night, our waiter lost my dinner ticket.
he gave one of my table mates the wrong order.[ he got one item right.]
some waiters are high school students. this is training for them.
