No trick or treaters

We usually don't get them.   There aren't any kids on my street.  We don't give out candy anyway.  Did you get any?

I live in an apartment in a gated community. I'm the only white guy in the building and there's a bunch of Hispanic families. Sadly, they never come to my door.

I don't get any trick or treaters making their way up to my third floor, :highfive: 8)

It varies. Sometimes we have a lot, a little, and no trick or treaters in Halloween. Last 2-3 Halloween there is barely any trick or treaters, which is bad since I usually buy a mix bag of candy in a warehouse club (you know the 80-120 count). I guess they couldn't get past the security door or maybe because my neighbors don't give out candy and they don't bother with the top floor. This year there was a lot of trick or treaters and it is good because I don't have to deal with trying to finish the candy bag

We don't have some either.  I don't know why, but they don't show up any this year.

Considering where I live, there are no trick-or-treaters. Instead, the local community center hosts a Halloween "In Your House" event where they transform the center into a haunted house where the children safely receive candy. I prefer that over the traditional door-to-door route.

We got all of 2 at our house, and both those kids were from the same family! It is not worthwhile for kids to come down our street because the houses are located far apart from one another and there is a cul-de-sac at the end of the street, so it would be very inefficient for kids to go trick-or-treating on our street.

We got overwhelmed last night, which was surprising for a Monday. Phew!

About 5 or 6 years ago the number of children coming around trick or treating in my neighborhood fell of drastically.  After about another year or so, I only received 2 kids.  Since I have been handing out candy for about 40 years, I decided it was enough and this was the third year I didn't buy candy or have any kids.  I even noticed that just about everybody in my immediate vicinity didn't have any porch lights on showing they were participating in Halloween.  There are not many children in the neighborhood anyway.

I was expecting some kids to pass by yesterday... but no one came... I guess they don't really do it anymore... too dangerous...

Our community puts on a Trunk 'n' Treat event downtown.  Local businesses line the street with cars, trucks, vans, and disperse treats from their trunks. Still, we had lots of kids at our house.  I closed the door and turned off the lights at 8 p.m. so I could eat supper. It was a blast.

I'm from the Midwest area. Trick or Treating is big here! We got a lot of kids. My daughter came home from trick or treating  and her bag was so heavy her arm was hurting from the weight, so we decided to weigh the bag of candy. It weighed 11 pounds!
