Favorite ethnic food

I love Italian, Mexican, and Chinese food.

If going to a restaurant Mexican would be my pick.  My Dad's family is Italian and nothing tastes like my Grandmother's cooking did.  I make a stab at cooking but it is not the same.

My absolute favorite is at a little middle eastern restaurant where they have this amazing meat pie and homemade baklava.  However it is a town over from us and I rarely get to go there unfortunately.

I like Italian. I grew up in an italian household and an italian neighborhood as well. Every house I would go to daily growing up would have italian food in it.

Italian because I am Italian but other than that, I love Japanese.  Love sushi.

Same here. I love Italian, Chinese and Mexican. Plus I find nothing at all wrong with a good ole' expensive American steak from Costco with a baked potato with butter and sour crème, nice salad and apple pie with ice cream for dessert either!

Gyros made with seasoned lamb, wrapped in a grilled flatbread pita, with fresh sliced tomatoes, sweet raw onions, thin sliced cukes and tzatziki sauce.  I could live on these !!

I love all sorts of international foods.  Some of my favorites are Greek, Thai, African and Jamaican foods.  Have a terrific day!

i love food. Period. I make a lot of Mexican and sometimes sweet & sour chicken from the Chinese cookbook I own, , but I'd rather get take out Chinese. Can't get Mexican around here. The nearest Taco Bell is almost 20 miles away, so I have to make it at home. 

I also love a couple of Italian dishes but would rather get them take-out. I'm totally in love with egglant parmesan and fettucine Alfredo but both of those are expensive to buy. i do make eggplant parmesan when I can but can't find any way to replace the fettucine Alfredo. This dish makes 2 meals for me.

I am a native New Mexican and of course i grew up on Mexican food. Even if i am a gringo (white)  I love it. When we lived in  Ohio for a short time (1956-1959) i thought we were going to starve until grandpa shipped us green and red Chili. also the pinto beans and ingredients for  Tamales and corn tortillas. Sure was glad to get the care packages.
