I have a cell phone and would like o upgrade to a Smart Phone. Are they worth it?

My son has an apple iphone and loves it. I think its well worth the money for all that it does.

I don't think it's a FAD. It will probably be here forever unless some thing better comes along.

i think they are over rated all my friends have one and they always have to get them fixed or new ones they dont hold up very well

Cell phones aren't made to last.  Why do you think some of them are so cheap.  Its supply and demand.  Cell phones are not a fad.  They are making the cells smarter and smarter everyday.  Some people are lost without this appendage in their ear.

I only use a cell phone for emergencys. I have a home phone , so if someone needs to talk they can reach me there. I don't like talking on the phone when I'm driving. I think its rude when people are out dining and constantly talking on the phone. It appears they don't have time to spend with the people they are with.I am not referring to myself, just to people in general that I have observed doing this.

I recently got a cell phone from metro pcs, good service, cheap, no contract & not to mention it's unlimited.

I don't understand how some people will spend $100-150 a month on a cell phone bill.
