Does completing surveys online with Fusion the same as working online? What do you think? :moneymouth:

No.  I do not consider that working online.  Or rather, I do not consider that a job.  I need a real job.  The little amount I make on these sites will not support me.  I want a real job that is either something I can do from home (no not stuffing envelopes) or online.

I don't really think there are true work from home jobs that you can give up your daily job.  I mean to make a good salary I mean.  I do think there are several legit sites to make extra money.

I think there are some out there.  Probably just really hard to get.  The extra money does help a lot.  And I have done good overall on this site.  I have tried to refer people.  I don't know if they just join on their own and don't use my link or what.  I have 2.  And neither of them do anything.  One done nothing more than just join.

I also know people who would not join thru the referral link because they would not want me to make any money from them.  Even though the money I made would not come from their earnings.  I would get money from their efforts (ie the $5 when they cash out) so they wouldn't use the referral link.

I hear this kind of thing a lot and in a way it makes me laugh and in a way it upsets me.  There is one simple way that you can make money online, or offline for that matter, and you are in control of how much you make.  I'm not talking a little extra money.  I'm talking about full time income and as much as you can really imagine.  NETWORK MARKETING!!

Well since I do not know what NETWORK MARKETING is or how to do it that is basically useless information.  If it is anything like the affiliate link thing then I would say it is bogus.  I had talked to someone who was trying to tell me that all he does is posts affiliate links on websites for 20 minutes a day about 3 days a week and he makes THOUSANDS of dollars a week.  I called him a liar to his face.  I explained that I had set up more than one website and that no random person can come along and post their links on MY site.  So saying I just go around on the internet posting my links on people's website is a lie.  For some reason he no longer wanted to talk to me. lol

Honestly you kind of explained where me thoughts came from.  What I am talking about is nothing like what you mentioned.  Network marketing, or Multi Level Marketing.  If you seriously haven't heard about this, you should really take some time and at least look into what it's all about.  The industry has created more millionaires than any other industry in the world.

I worked my butt off for a Multi Level Marketing company in the 80's  for 6 years and when my dad died and while I was taking time for family business, the owner of the companies latest super stars under mined my whole down line. I was the very first person to have Arbonne Skin Care in the Mid-west  I was made a area Manager in Las Vegas at a convention and was weeks away from getting a company car!  I got screwed royal... GET every thing in writing for if you get sick or some one dies and you need time off .   My 6 years counted for NOTHING and i ended up with nothing because i needed 8 weeks to tend to a death.

sbenkoski - I wrote the link down.  I didn't know you could delete your own posts. haha.  You won't get in trouble for that.  The only thing you get in trouble for is if you post referral links to other sites.  And apparently you don't get in trouble for that since there are a ton of them on here from time to time and they never get deleted.

I am not sure I am understanding.  Were YOU sick and needed off or you needed off 8 weeks because of your father's death?  That is a long time.  I don't know of any company that will let you off that long because of the death of a family member.  Maybe if you work for a company that has that FMLA.  I have never had that so I am not familiar with what all it covers.

It is hard to get things in writing as well.  I am currently looking for another job.  I had thought about that.  But what do you do when they say you will get paid this amount ... say oh excuse me but can I get that in writing? But I seriously had thought about that.  How would you word it?  Just so we are on the same page can I get a job offer in writing stating the hours and rate of pay?  Not trying to be smart but in the past there have been misunderstandings and I just want to make sure we are clear on what I am being offered?  That doesn't sound too bad does it? lol

I would still love to work for myself.

The point was I have no idea what network marketing is or multi level marketing.  Do not even know how to go about starting in finding out.  The point was people say the affiliate links will make you thousands of dollars a week and all you do it post links on other people's websites for 20 minutes a day a few days a week. Which is complete BS. But anyway. I can't see if being something I can just do tomorrow and make millions of dollars.  I will google network marketing and see what turns up.

I appreciate fusion cash and a couple of other sites that I am able to earn some spending money or maybe even help out here and there with small bills or food but I tried for years to find actual work online to earn significant money but no was never successful.  Now my sons found some online work a couple of years back but it was hard and even at that didn't add up to enough to live on.

That is what I need to accept.  I can make a little on here and other sites to supplement my income but I need to accept working from home or online probably will never happen :(  I have done things like this for years as well.  I do better today than I have in the past but I think there are more sites and more ways to earn now than there use to be.

I do hate to hear your story.  I hope don't hold it against the entire industry.  There are bad people and bad companies in every industry.  The one great thing that comes from success in network marketing...If you can build it once, you can build it again.  But without a doubt, I can understand you being upset over that situation.

I hear ya.  If anyone every tells you you can do something in a day and make millions...run.  If they say, easy money, run.

Briefly, instead of a company spending millions to advertise and market their product or service, they allow individuals to become representatives who can earn money by bringing in customers and other representatives.  So you do something and get paid for it month after month.  Take enough action and you can build it into a good size check.  And you get paid for the efforts of others and not just yourself.

There are a lot of online jobs, but they aren't reliable, so i don't waste my time any more  trying to find a work at home job.

There are some legit jobs out there. My niece works from home online, but I do not know exactly what she does, but that is her full time job and she makes well.,They are hard to find though. My niece is from Argentina and that is where she started her job, She is now in the US and they tranferred her over here with better pay and a promotion. :)

It was like selling Avon or Mary Kay  I don't think they can force people to have set hours... I wasn't getting a pay check i was getting a % of my sales . And a cut off my recruits sales.   I'd have understood if they were sending me a paycheck ! But the people they set to help me (so they said )  Had no mind to help any one but themselves !
