Working online is a great option that really should become more of a facet of companies given the net and the telecommunication capabilities of the modern world. It cuts down overhead for the company, allows the workers to be more productive, saves gas money. It's just all around good. I think some companies hesitate to do it though, afraid their workers will goof off, but in my experience the ones who work from home are at least as hard working because they have to show results.

MOST jobs require a real person to be in a physical location.  Factory work requires a person to be there to run the machines.  Customer service requires people to be there to do the job.  You cannot do those jobs from home. Actually very few jobs can be done from home.

I had a neighbor a few years ago that got fired from her job and rather than admit that she told me that her boss is letting her "download" her work and do it at home.  She was the receptionist that sat at the front desk and answered the phone.  I never called her on her BS but now I sure wish I had of.

I doubt people would "goof off' at home any more than they do at work.

There was a time when I "worked online" - it really was absurd.  I spent every waking moment with a laptop in front of me... registered w/200+sites.  I would leave the apartment for appointments for kids, grocery shopping and church.  Other than that I was "working".  Living paycheck to paycheck was an understatement. It wasn't good for me physically or mentally.  I know people who now work from home too - but they have been with X company for many years.  I still work from home.  Not just survey sites.  But also my own little side bakery gig.  However I'm also working full time where the consistent bread and butter flows from.

Here is the thing, sites like this is not 'working' it is playing on the internet.  I do several sites like this but would never call this a job.  Sites like this is not having a job.  You may spend 2 hours trying to do surveys and other stupid stuff and make less than 50 cents.

I think any online or work from home jobs you might be thinking of would be people who own their own business so it requires a lot of leg work and initiative

I hear this kind of thing a lot and in a way it makes me laugh and in a way it upsets me.  There is one simple way that you can make money online, or offline for that matter, and you are in control of how much you make.  I'm not talking a little extra money.  I'm talking about full time income and as much as you can really imagine.  NETWORK MARKETING!!

:rose: :rainbow: :rose: I know of some people that have an office type job that they can work from home as long as they have internet and computer. Jobs like that do exist but you have to find the right company to do this from.  :rose: :rainbow: :rose:

No, there are actually jobs where you work totally online.  I would be just as happy working "from home". But I do not know how to make enough money at home.  Like someone said a few posts ago, she spends every waking moment on sites like this trying to make some money.  I do not want to work 80 hours a week for $10.  I actually was offered a job where I would work online but it was only 20  hours a week.  And they wanted access to everything on my computer, on my cell phone, and access to the contents of my emails and my text messages.  And before you scream SCAM it IS a legit company and I know a woman who has worked there for over 8 years.    I wasn't willing to agree to the terms of service so I basically turned it down.

There are work from home jobs that are real but seems people are reluctant to tell you the truth.  I don't know if they are afraid you will take their job or money from them or what.  Like I said, next time I hear somebody say that I am going to ask a lot of questions and if they can't come across with some real answers I will probably call them a liar. lol

Well since I do not know what NETWORK MARKETING is or how to do it that is basically useless information.  If it is anything like the affiliate link thing then I would say it is bogus.  I had talked to someone who was trying to tell me that all he does is posts affiliate links on websites for 20 minutes a day about 3 days a week and he makes THOUSANDS of dollars a week.  I called him a liar to his face.  I explained that I had set up more than one website and that no random person can come along and post their links on MY site.  So saying I just go around on the internet posting my links on people's website is a lie.  For some reason he no longer wanted to talk to me. lol

You really should post your comments in a darker pink.  This is really hard to read.  :D

You have to already have a relationship with the company.  Would also depend I guess on where you live.  I live in a small town.  You are lucky if you can find a full time job that pays over $7.25 an hour.  Let alone finding something like this.  I know it exists.  I know ATT a lot of their operators work from home.  But they have to be hiring in your area and I am not sure you can just start out from home.  The girl I knew who done it had been with them for a really long time.

I don't really think there are true work from home jobs that you can give up your daily job.  I mean to make a good salary I mean.  I do think there are several legit sites to make extra money.
