Apparently some lady decided to try to climb the statue of liberty yesterday....smh

I saw something about this. Some stupid libtard trying to hang a sign saying to abolish ICE.  I can't comprehend the stupidity of people these days.  Most of the ones who want to let all the illegals just flock across the boarder are welfare bums who aren't support themselves anyway.  The working Americans can't afford to support any more than we already are.  The entire world can't move to the United States. There isn't room.  Fight back and make your own country a better place.  Instead of sneaking in to the US and expecting a free ride!

They should have shot her.

I heard on the news it was a protest. Then all the visitors had to leave and they closed it down for safety reasons. 1- they should refund everyone who was there and 2-  charge her to the fullest extent of the law.I don't want to hear she has issues. She knew what she was doing.

Where was all the security in allowing this to happen.  It's also sad because it ruined many peoples chance to visit the Statue of Liberty while on their vacation.

She was protesting the conditions of the children being held.   I agree, it was not the smartest way to protest but really "she should be shot" as someone else said is ridiculous.

I only know about people go inside the statue of liberty by going upstairs but never heard of something climbing on it.

She must have been awful Brave to climb that Statue of Liberty. She could have fallen and killed herself. She had to have been a little crazy.

I absolutely love watching people do crazy stuff in NYC like climb up the outside of buildings and sit on the Statue of Liberty, etc. I'm usually not at all moved by whatever belief they are trying to espouse but am absolutely fascinated that they can bypass security altogether to do these things.

She was trying to hang a banner. Protesting ICE.  These people who think we should just open our boarders and let whomever wants come here are flippin stupid.
