I never heard of drops healing cataracts. You should research that before you buy them. I did have both eyes done and had some side effects after surgery which went away within 6 weeks. My doctor did tell me that some people experience side effects but that it would go away. He was right. Naturally I had to be one of those who experienced side effects. End result is that I am happy that I now see better having them removed. Good luck.

I also have cataracts in both eyes that my eye doctor said has to be removed.  I have noticed that my eyesight is blurry and it is hard to see to drive at night.  I have an appointment on April 23rd and hope to have one surgery done the first part of May and then the second done as soon as possible after that.  I know several people who have had the surgery and they say that it is real simple.

I had cataracts removed from both my eyes a bit over a year ago.  Although I was somewhat nervous about it, many people told me it was a simple surgery.  I also researched that it has a high success rate with few side effects reported.  It did turn out to be fairly simply, even putting the drops in afterwards was no big deal!
As far as drops being able to remove the "cloud" that a cataract makes over your vision, I don't think so.  That is a scam and what I would call fraudulent advertising.
Go ahead and have the surgery!  You will see better.  It is not complex and has been repeated thousands of times. Just make sure you go to a reputable eye doctor whose expertise is doing these type surgeries repeatedly.

I am also a senior and know several people who have had it done. They all say the surgery isn't painful and that they were glad they had it done because their vision was a lot better afterwards. I think you should do it.

Have a wonderful day!
