When you are single, it seems like everyone else has a significant other. When I was in a relationship, I never really notice other couples.

I was only in a relationship for a little while, but I know what you mean....

It's  what the person chooses to make of their marital status. I was single for a very long time after my first marriage; and it did not bother me; I felt if  I was meant to meet the right person again it would happen and if not I would still be okay. It just so happens that a few years back I did meet the rights one and am now married again; but I enjoyed my single life.

Hello! :D :)

I'm currently single, am dating but nothing serious as of yet I just don't think I'm ready. Many people don't believe in monogamy as I do so I will wait until I find the one. :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

Sometimes it is a good thing to be single because it gives you a chance to focus on yourself for a while.

   Cut that tie Twice now!  Here's a chuckle for us d'vor'd !

Price of Barbie

Ralph is driving home one evening, when he suddenly realizes that it’s his daughter’s birthday and he hasn’t bought her a present. He drives to the mall, runs to the toy store, and says to the shop assistant, “How much is that Barbie Doll?”
In a condescending manner, she says, “Which Barbie?” She continues, “We have Barbie Goes to the Gym for $19.95, Barbie Goes to the Ball for $19.95, Barbie Goes Shopping for $19.95, Barbie Goes to the Beach for $19.95, Barbie Goes Nightclubbing for $19.95, and Divorced Barbie for $265.00.”
Ralph asks, “Why is the Divorced Barbie $265.00 when all the others are only $19.95?”
“That’s obvious,” the saleslady says. “Divorced Barbie comes with Ken’s house, Ken’s car, Ken’s boat, Ken’s furniture…”

Yes I agree now my current problem besides no longer wanting to be single is that I go out to eat frequently with my sister in law and her husband (her brother my husband is deceased) and that is fine but sometimes they want to invite another couple and that puts me off.  I don't feel funny when it is just them but two couples and me makes me feel odd.  Am I crazy?

I have not been single for so very long. I don't even remember what it felt like. Even when I was single I was not single for a long period of time.

I'm single but the choice wasn't mine because my hubby pass away 10yrs ago. Being alone, is okay, I've 2 broke senior cats to keep me company. I can't seem to find a human companion because they never measure up to my late hubby.
