I used to be one for talking on the phone but since the age of texting, I tell anyone who wants to get in touch with me to send me a text. If it is an emergency, I tell them to call. Other than that, I would only get texts.
That is pretty much like me. Some people don't know when to hang up lol. So I have to mainly say hey Im gonna go now and will chat later.

I would rather my family text me than talk to me. I would also rather the same for some old so called friends.

As long as I get complete messages I can deal with either one. Nothing drives me nuts more than someone sending a text or voice mail that just says call me. Why can't they give me some kind of idea what they want (unless it's a salesman or scammer).

Would rather talk to them but somethings a text for just a quick question is enough.  But during the week when we are all at work it is sometimes hard to get an answer right away.

It depends on what is being discussed; I don't like long text trying to explain a situation, if it's short I dont mind texting but thing requiring a lot of details I prefer to talk on the phone.

As long as they get my message or understand what I am trying to say,
either methods are OK with me.

It depends on the day with me.  If I have a lot to say to someone I will call them.  If I only have a little to say, then I will text them.

I like both texting and calling.  I can't have my phone at work so the text will be there for when I get a break.  I also like texting in GROUP messages.  One message to the whole group with one press of the button.  Each person in the group can respond and all in the group can read and refer back to the text as needed.

it depends on who the person is. with my gf we are on the phone all the time and can sit there and not say anything or talk to each other for a long time. its just easier to be on the phone than text. with most of my friends i'll just ft them randomly and if they answer they answer instead of texting lol. but we are college aged and we can do that

I prefer to text because I don't really like talking much on the phone.

It depends on what I'm doing at the moment. If I'm busy or preoccupied I prefer to text. However, I do love calling or getting calls when I'm not working.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

i enjoy both. it depends on the situation. if it is a quick question or comment i will text. if it is lengthy, complicated  or i haven't spoken to someone for a while i will call them.  i find that i tend to text more because it is quick and i can do it anytime without disturbing them or waiting for a good time to call. :rainbow: :peace:

I'm okay with talking as long as people say what needs to be said but I don't like listening to people ramble on about nothing.

That being said, I prefer texting.  I just feel it's more convenient.
Have a great day!
