I know it is early to ask about Thanksgiving, BUT I figured if christmas stuff is already in the stores, I can ask Thanksgiving questions...  :cat:

This is by far the best meal of the year. I love to cook, we always go to dinner, but I make an extra turkey and all the fixings for us to have for the week ahead.

I say it's all needed for the perfect Thanksgiving hoopla. Can't pick on over the rest.

I'm not crazy about turkey, but I love the stuffing. Also green bean casserole.

This is my favorite meal to cook. Husband, kids and grandkids look forward to it every year. Love the way to house smells when baking pumpkin pies and then the turkey and stuffing baking. Went out for Thanksgiving one year and it just wasn't the same.

We always did ham and a turkey breast for Thanksgiving. One year my Mom did the feast and the Turkey had a blood clot when she carved it, GROSS, the next year my Sister did her first Turkey and left the bag of nasty stuff inside it...sort of made everyone not want the whole bird. This year I'm divorced and will be alone so I'm picking up ' A Sack ' at Whitecastle.

I always make a turkey for the tradition of it.  I love to make mashed potatoes with cream cheese added ahead of time, then just put them into the crockpot.  My husband really likes the green bean casserole.  Pumpkin pie is a favorite with pecan a close second.
