I'm trying really hard to understand what exactly Trump is supposed to do about a virus. He's not a doctor or a magician, and he doesn't control the world. This is a pandemic. Nearly every country (if not all) in the world is dealing with this, some harder hit than others. Trump can't monitor the situation in every city, county and state individually. It's easier to control on a local level. My state has been doing fairly well so far, because the governor has been opening things up more slowly. If your area is a free-for-all and your hospitals are overwhelmed, that's on your local officials.
For one he didn't have to get rid of the pandemic office. These are the experts who know what the hell they are talking about and who we needed to listen too.
He should have acted sooner when he got the information and taken it seriously and not think it was a hoax.
He should have put real experts in charge instead of listening to his ignorant son in law.
He should have listened to the CDC and came up with a national unified strategy instead of failing to lead and left it up to each state to fend for themselves.
I could go on and on about how he miserably failed to do his job. That's what he could have done about the virus at the very minimum.
