Well, 1 week after being released to start walking after ankle reconstruction surgery, I am making slow but sure progress. One thing I am having trouble with is my surgeon will not prescribe any more pain medicine...I don't want to keep taking it forever but he acts like his patients are just seeking drugs. I have taken 4 extra strength Tylenol and also tried 4 Advil gels....no luck. Anybody out there have any good ideas for pain control? I really don't want to go to the ER for something like this. Thanks!
