Who here still believes in santa clause or pretends he is real??

My parents don't really do it anymore. Is It against christianity to pretend there is a santa claus?? Or is it just ok for the kids?? I found out he wasn't real when i was like 11 or so. I was very sad and it's depressing that we don't celebrate it anymore. I miss being a kid.

I knew when I was quite young, I'm 25 & have 1 younger & 3 older sisters & my parents still put, from: Santa on the presents. It's just tradition.

When you don't think hard into it, no it's pretty innocent. But technically it's very anti-christian. Why? Because it teaches kids about something that does not exist but everyone they trust (parents) says it does. When the kid finds out that a fat man from the north pole who flies with magical reindeer to give presents to people once a year does not exist, he may question other aspects of what their parents tell them at a young age...like the jewish-zombie or the genocidal-maniac-who-loves-you god. You see what I mean?

I wish Santa Claus was real so that we, as parents, didn't have to worry about paying for any gifts from him.  My daughter found out last year that he wasn't real and it was a real shocker.  Oh well, such as life.

Awe. I miss those days. I dont remember what age I was when I learned he wasnt real or how I even learned it! I dont have any kids so I cant continue the tradition.
