To Get-Or Not to Get-Vaccinated for the Flu Virus
« on: December 10, 2013, 01:30:55 pm »
Most medical professionals would encourage people to run out and get the flu vaccination, each year, because a percentage of people die from the flu virus.

What about recent stories, in the news, where people (some of them young and healthy) die within hours or days of being vaccinated?

Do we only have two options?  Getting or not getting the vaccine?

Not in my world.  I manage Epstein Barr virus all year long so I know that I can help myself if I'm willing to consume herbs and spices that are considered anti-viral.

Garlic is an herb that can be added to a lot of different dishes.  It has nutritional value and it's considered anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.

Cayenne is an herb that is also considered highly nutritious besides being anti-viral.

Yarrow is an herb that can be taken in capsule form or drank as a tea.  It's a source of essential fatty acids and it's anti-viral.

Which route will you take, and why?

Have a great day!

My friend was healthy no cold or anything. After she got vaccinate she got really sick. I decided not to get the flu shot. I take a muti vitamin everyday including extra vitamin c.i drink green tea everyday which helps rid the body of toxins.

I do not get the flu shot, simple reason it's does not agree with my body.  Each time I did get the flu shot I became very ill.  My Doctor had to do an aggressive medical treatment and I was prescribed (7) different medications to take at once for a number of weeks just to get my body back to normal.  I now take numerous vitamins and herbs to help counter act against the flu.  :female:

I have been getting the flu shot for over 40 years now.  Before I started to take it I stayed sick with cold all winter and coughed my head off.  Since I take it I might get one cold in the winter.  It is so good not to be sick all winter now.  May God bless each of you and keep you safe.

My husband always takes the flu shot but I don't.  I don't go to the doctor since I don't have insurance.
Have a wonderful day!

Ever since I learned that they put mercury in the flu vaccine I've depended on herbs and vitamin c to combat the flu.

Get your /flu shot! It will help you with immunities for other strains of flu and keep you from getting the flu. Who wants to be sick? I have gotten a flu shot for many years and have not suffered from a lengthy illness( over 1 day) for many years. It Pays!

I hate to take any vaccine even the flu shot. They always make the sight of injection red and sore. Inaddition, whenever I take the flu shot I get flu like sympotms as if I were sick. The only reason why I take them is because I know they are mandatory by state to attend school or be in any health profession. But if it wasn't for the mandation I would not take them. :bad:

I do get my children vaccinated. My youngest son gets asthma from time to time and I only found out recently that the nasal flu vaccine can trigger an asthma attack so he will have to get the needle next year. But if I chose for him not to get vaccinated at all, we would probably end up in hospital on the nebulyzer because flus and coughs always seem to go to his chest - it has happened twice already. So I will always get him a flu vaccine, it will just have to be a needle from now on.

I get one every year, but usually in February...my community has started vaccinating anyone who wants one one Saturday a year for no cost!  Even though I sometimes still get sick it doesn't last nearly as long ...2 or 3 days instead of 10-14.

I caught the flu last year and it made me very weak from fevers because I have MS. In October I took my son for his check up and the pediatrician offered flu shots to parents. Luckily they had only injections. I can't take the nasal because it contains live virus. :o I didn't have any bad reactions except a little nasal congestion.
