I think being single is ok. Why cause single as benefits, you can go out anytime you like, or you can look at other people without hearing it from a partner, or you can eat anything you like without I don't like that or nah not tonight! Lot's of reason's to be single!  :)

After two failed marriages and turning 74, I am beyond happy being single, grandma, great-grandma.

I have no inclination to date at this age, and man....that is freedom to just enjoy.

I'd like a companion, but as I'm getting older I'm getting content with it. I guess.

Nothing wrong with being single. I had been in relationships pretty much non-stop since 2011 and I was physically and emotionally exhausted. I'm glad to have taken some time to myself now because I've met some really great people and have gotten MYSELF in order. I spent so much time helping other people that I forgot that there's someone right here who isn't perfect. I've only been single about 6 months, but I've learned so much already. I couldn't be more proud of myself right now.

If I didn't want a certain thing to eat I would say it.  But there is nothing wrong with being single.  Or being married.  Up to the person.

I am in a relationship now and I do prefer it to being single. I think it varies from person to person. I like having someone to care about.

I'm with you.  I get asked all the time, why am I single.  I am perfectly ok with it, and I am quite enjoying it.  Some woman might lock me down one day, but until then...I'm having fun.

I have never had a problem with being single. I love being single because I love to go out with friends without someone telling me what to do and how to do it

Relationships aren't everything. I don't actively seek them. I don't want to risk marrying someone and ending that marriage in divorce!

I am a widow and sometimes I think it is a lonely life but then I don't want to be with someone all the time - as things are now I do what I want when I want more or less so I don't know I haven't met anyone since my husband died that I would want to be with all the time.

I have been married 47 years, but there is NO WAY my wife or I are with each other all the time. We have plenty of time to pursue personal activities (such as making this post) and she has her own hobbies that do not involve me at all (such as Stampin' Up).
