Shutting down the Police Departments

I'm tired of just about everything being "racist" even when some things are not.

People want Penny Lane's name changed even when it has nothing to do with slavery like they claim it is.

They're tearing down historic statues and want to take over a police station without having to buy it at all like normal people would have to do.

Pretty soon,they'll get history removed entirely and no one will be able to learn the truth at all.

It'll all be a made up fairytale where no one was racist against each other.

Sure,there's lots of racist stuff in history,but it's racist against everyone and we can't help what people did in the past.

Can you imagine if all police departments were shut down.  Lawlessness would rein supreme.  You can expect the police to do right and you can train and make rules about how to deal with people who resist the police and do wrong but if we do away with the law all we will achieve is chaos.

We would have no order that's for sure...

The thing is "everyone" are not wanting lawlessness.  People who obey the law and do what's right do not want the police dis-banned.  It is like in Atlanta people saying oh well they deserve it and they wanted it.  Not so.  Some want it but not all.  The law abiding citizens deserve to have some protection.

i personally think its crazy...yes get rid of the bad cops..but most are good..and where everyone is turning this into a race thing,.that is crazy..we are here today and cannot control what any of our ancestors did or didnt do..none of my family had slaves..yet they are putting all of us in the same bracket..here in our town everything is ok..i think everyone needs to go back to work..too much time on their hands

Exactly. I never owned a slave and neither did my family.  And no black person alive today was ever a slave and 99% of them their family were not slaves either.  You are right about everyone being put in to the same bracket. But if you do that to them you are a horrible person.  I have said before that where I live nothing like this is going on and I can't see it happening here.  I have actually noticed people seem to be being nicer to each other the more crazy the rest of the world gets.  As far as things opening back up - we were never on some mandated lock down.  The county mayor acted like and ran her mouth on facebook saying she was going to do that but she was let known real quick she could not do that.  Yes some businesses were closed but as far as I know everything is open now.  There are still people refusing to go back to work. Not sure how they are paying their bills cause they are not drawing unemployment and are not getting paid.  Guess somebody is keeping them up.
