Off-Topic / Re: Vote In Person
« on: October 14, 2020, 02:51:50 pm »Message ID: 1342240
So much finger pointing-blecch. I will be dropping my ballot off. We have enough ballot boxes in Colorado. No decrease in boxes, reductions in number of voting locations, and hopefully minimal Russian intervention. I feel sorry for so Many Texans that have been relegated to dropping their ballots at one location per county. Some of those counties are more than a thousand square miles which could mean it would take a few hours just to avoid potential exposure to people with CoVid. Over Two hundred and twenty thousand votes will not be counted this year thanks to Covid. Another One hundred and eighty thousand deaths are forecast by the time the next presidential term begins which will bring the total to over four hundred thousand, The 1918 Pandemic (called Spanish but actually American in origin) took over six hundred thousand-betting we match, and beat, that number. I am surprised that rules like this were not in play with people in Florida where the average age is much higher and politicians are out of control.

I am in the same boat. I did not receive June or July's payment and placed less importance on posting in August and September because I was busy with three jobs, expanding my waterfall and completing a flagstone patio in my front yard. I have started to lose money earned because ist has been six months since I have cashed out which is a bummer. I have a little down time on one project so I am going to try and whip out thirty one posts and do some surveys so that I do not lose all of my earnings. I am sure that fusion cash will pay everyone for their postings as they have not let me down in ten plus years. I am sorry that all of you are having more difficulties in these troubled times. Please have patience...Fusion cash is awesome and a wonderful site to make cash and contacts as well as various skills.

Off-Topic / Re: Calif fires

Colorado is getting hit pretty bad as well. We had ash, supposedly coming from California prior to our Grizzly Creek fire. Visibility and air quality over the last five weeks has been awful. Friday we had another fire pop up that covers over thirty four thousand acres. My wife, daughter and I went out for dinner Saturday evening and had to cover our glasses to keep the ash from building up. My black car was almost white from the ashes. I am hoping that yesterday's snow storm managed to slow the fire down a bit. The snow accumulation was between three to eight inches in different areas. The fire was closer to the mountains which means it probably got hit with higher amounts of snow. Experts have said that the heat can be contained under the snow for a few days so time will tell.

Off-Topic / And in other 'Non-News"...
« on: September 09, 2020, 03:09:34 pm »Message ID: 1338809
A thirteen year old, autistic white boy was shot by police in Salt Lake City, Utah after his mother called 911 seeking help for her son who was having a mental break down. Related non-news: there have been no riots. Additional non-news: The national guard has not been called in. Even more 'non-news': No calls to defund the police were issued. No comments have been issued from the Biden political tour or White House representives as to whether a visit will be made by politicians capitalizing on news events.  The boy's mother questioned why non-lethal, less aggressive, alternate tools were not used, especially given that the nature of the call was provided as a mental health crisis. Police body cam footage will be released ten business days after the incident. An online fund raising page has been created to help the boy with injuries to his ankles, shoulder, intestines and bladder.

The latest rally with minimal mask coverage. Perhaps the president is looking for another excuse to employ if he loses the election...his constituency dying due to CoVid awarded at rallies. Arizona, Oklahoma, North Carolina...maybe a focus on rallying in battle ground states would be a good idea? Strengthen Biden's position in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Virginia and Iowa by holding rallies that ultimately kill supporters that embrace his mask wearing stance? The United States is only five thousand and fifteen deaths away from hitting two hundred thousand...America is Greatly beating all other countries in death count. The Spanish/1918 (AKA American flu-originated here) went from February 1918 to April 1920. If the CoVid death count keeps this pace it should meet, and beat, the 1918 pandemic.

Off-Topic / Re: Should the baseball season continue?
« on: August 02, 2020, 06:08:42 am »Message ID: 1334266
No. With a high number of players testing positive for the corona virus it is reckless an greedy to continue. The Nationals, Brewers, Phillies, Marlins, Blue Jays and Cardinals have all cancelled games due to the virus. To continue is not only pointless and is risking lives. If allowed to continue, why not change the league name from Major League Baseball to Death Race 2020? Will the winner of the World Series come down to whoever has the most unaffected and living players? Everybody in the world is currently making sacrifices, why should the league, baseball players and fans be immune to making sacrifices? What kind of message is this sending to the public? Hello public, baseball is playing, everything is better , now go out, let your guard down and get the virus.

Off-Topic / Re: Trump pushing schools to reopen in August/ September
« on: July 31, 2020, 01:43:15 pm »Message ID: 1333979
The push by the current administration to get kids back in school is not one that I agree with. A great many reputable corporations have allowed their employees to work from home until further notice which begs the questions "Why would we push our children to go to school if the health of adults are not being risked at work?". I will be working from home until at least January and if my kids were still of an age needing adult consent, I would not let them go. The administration is also pushing to cancel student VISA's if classes are being held on line. Thankfully colleges and universities are examining the rules laid out and minimizing the impact of this decree. My son's college, for instance will provide one day in class for each individual that is worried about being deported.

Off-Topic / Re: Backyard Chickens
« on: July 31, 2020, 01:21:29 pm »Message ID: 1333972
Two people in our neighborhood have tried to petitioned for our homeowner's association to allow chickens to be raised within the neighborhood. The effort was met with a resounding "no". The homeowner's association runs a tight ship and is one of the reasons why we moved to this area. The thought of hearing roosters crow at early hours of the morning (even though I wake up before roosters) and the clucking of chickens was not pleasant. Chickens would also attract more predators to our neighborhood and we have already seen a large number of small cats and dogs disappearing. We have a fair amount of open space that provides romping grounds for coyotes, raccoons, skunks, owls, hawks and occasionally eagles, mountain lions, bears and a moose was spotted once.

The first dog to succumb to the corona virus died July eleventh after his owners had him euthanized. After being sick for several months (since mid-April) he was struggling to breathe, losing weight, and was sleeping more and more. The dog was taken to several vetrinarians, subjected to medical interventions, steroids, heart medications and finally tested for CoVid on May fifteenth. .The New York City Department of Health called the family on June second to to inform them that their dog had Covid. Pets do not appear to be easily infected by the virus and there is no evidence that animals can transmit the disease to humans. This information came from the National Geographic and USA Today. I would be crushed if my pups contracted CoVid.

I was a high school football player (went to state three times) which involved a lot of power lifting. I moved on to triathalons with three invites/qualifications to the United States championships. Marathons came next (fourteen in all) with three Boston qualifiers. Ultra marathons came next with an eighty five mile finish being my best before breaking my foot on a training run. I put on some weight during six months in a cast. I had never dieted before so I was surprised at my belly growth. I picked up a book "body for Life" and got into the best shape of my life while working out less than an hour a day, six days a week; eating six meals per day six days a week and having one cheat day a week to eat anything and not work out. Lately I am maintaining by doing cardiovascular work outs three days and weights two days while maintaining a sensible diet.

Off-Topic / Re: Receipts
« on: July 29, 2020, 05:20:56 pm »Message ID: 1333728
I keep receipts long enough to take picture of them and upload them to seven sites that provide cash back or gift cards. Two of the sites pay fifty dollars or more, one site has averaged over two hundred dollars for the last three years and the other four have between forty to fifty dollars worth of gift cards. I tape receipts for items that I feel will not meet my expectations to the box that they come in and hold the box for two years. Big ticket items generally go on my credit cards for a month nd I am able to refer back to that statement if need be (I have not had to do so yet. Most places that I shop at recognize their merchandise (Costco, lowes to name a few) so holding on to receipts is not necessary. Expenses related to my business get photographed and saved to related software.

So wrong. I have not seen anything like this on Fusion cash since I started over nine years ago. Where do people get off on thinking this is funny or something that anyone is even remotely interested in seeing. Sadly it is morally corrupt people like this that could mess up a good thing like Fusion cash. I have started looking at the name because they are pretty vulgar and am avoiding the posts started by these individuals. I guess Fusion cash will have to do a better job of screening names. These names seem very similar to names that video gamers come up with in order to avoid game administration review. My guess is that these posts are from individuals that are under age eighteen, gamers, most likely drop outs still living at home with no job.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you ever return fruit or meat to the store?
« on: July 28, 2020, 12:15:36 pm »Message ID: 1333503
I return anything that is not up to my expectation up to a week after purchasing it. I have no problem taking it back at any time because, it seems, there is always something I need from the store. I have taken shirts back within three months of purchasing if they lose a button or wear out at any point. I took a blender back after 11 months of use because it stopped working at my level of expectation. I had a scooter battery that wore out in eighty nine days (ninety day warranty), called Advanced Autoparts, and they have a new battery waiting for me (batteries should last much longer). I do not abuse anything that I buy so if it doesn't last as long as it should, I will return it. I have had sunglasses last twenty years and tried to return them.

I have experienced a slow down in videos/coupons, which I have relied on to hit my mark every seven weeks. I am only sitting at twelve dollars and seven cents but feel confident that I will hit my goal in September. I have always shied away from doing surveys because of all of the comments I have read about people getting a survey rejected after having completed all of the questions in an honest manner. I am going to try to do a few surveys in the next few weeks and pop my balance up to thirty dollars so that I can withstand rejection of a survey or two. July has been weird all the way around until nine days ago when we added an eight week old puppy. She and my one year old have added so much happiness to my home and all of the nasty news seems to have just melted out of my mind. Thanks for the post.

I used to like playing kid's games like Lemonade tycoon which I felt help me with my perspective in business and investing. That was about ten years ago when I started watching every penny, spending considerably less and constantly looking for additional streams of income. Fusion cash remains, to this day, one of my favorites because it not only helped hone my goal achievement, persistence, focus on saving/earning but it also helped develop my typing skills and patience. I have never spent a single cent, of the money made on fusion cash, on anything but investments. The result a nice source of passive income in and of itself. Hopefully Path of Exile serves the same purpose, does not consume too much real world time, and does not cost any real money.
