Sulfa drugs (hives), flu shot (hives), mumps vaccine (meningitis), smoke from burning leaves (asthma and sinusitis). I was allergic to dust when I was a child and my mother had to wet mop daily, and she also had to take away all my stuffed animals. :(

Absolutely. Walnuts, pecans, you name it.

I hate yams, pumpkin, hominy and the texture of peanut butter.

I listen to the radio only when I'm in the car and that's about once a week. I listen to either classic rock or talk radio, depending on who doesn't have commercials on when I turn it on.

This Nana feels the same way. I'm as protective of my grandkids as I am my own kids. I remember when my youngest son was swimming in the pool at the Boys Club and somebody hit him, so he just punched him in the stomach and knocked the breath out of him. He was never bothered again. He was about 7 at the time.

Far Side, but I haven't had newspapers delivered in years, so I don't really follow anything anymore.

Word search puzzles don't really challenge me, so I prefer crossword puzzles. I also like to do logic problems.

I would say to always barter and don't buy anything electric or electronic unless it can be tested first. I advertised a brand new salon-type hair dryer one time that had never been used. A lady contacted me about it, so I decided to test it.  Sure enough, it would not run because it had been in storage, so I let her know it wouldn't run.

I always tend to go the one closest to my house or destination. Checkers is the closest to me right now, but when I visit my mother in the nursing home, I'll stop and pick up Krystals for her.

I don't have either type at this time, but years ago I used both types.

Medium-well or well done because I don't want E. coli.

Off-Topic / Re: What kind of cell phone do you have?

I have an iPhone 4 with a bad MIC, so scratch that. I have an HTC EVO that drops calls thanks to Sprint, so I'm biding my contract time with a very cheap plan. I have a ZTE from Tracfone that is garbled. I have 2 old Motorola 370 phones from Tracfone that have the best reception of all. I think the best phone I ever had was a BlackBerry Curve. When I upgraded to a Bold, it dropped calls.

I don't have any right now. I used to grow snake plants (mother-in-law's tongue) and philodendron because it's hard to kill them. LOL

I don't go to any of them very often anymore but have the Extra Rewards card from CVS. Used to go there frequently. Every now and then I will go to Walgreens if I'm looking for something in particular. We don't have Rite-Aid here.

I won a portable TV one time from an office supply company we did business with. I guess there weren't that many entries. I used to be lucky and won a couple of things when I sent in post cards or plain paper to enter sweepstakes. I won a children's computer. That was during the 80s so it was nothing like there is now. What I really need to do is REMEMBER to enter the lotto!
