Yes, I have COPD and have had it for about three years.  I was in the hospital for close to two weeks.  I left on oxygen 24/7.  I went to pulmonary therapy for 16 weeks, and I'm now off oxygen, but still have to take my meds every day and will have to for life.

There are many days I cannot enjoy being outside.  I cannot breathe on hot days, or also on very cold days.  In the summer I miss many things due to my illness.

I have no one to blame but myself for this.  I started smoking at 16, to be cool like my friends.  I did not know the consequences of smoking then.  I quit 20 years ago, but the damage was done.  When I see kids smoking now, I want so much to tell them my story, but don't because I know they won't listen, after all, kids know everything there is to know.  After all, when I was 16, I knew everything!

I have both, I always liked the desk top better, but then I started using the laptop and once. I got used to it and the touch of the laptop,it's my favorite.  I rarely use he desk top anymore.

Thank you, she has done her first (of many) chemo sessions.  She has tolerated this one, I hope the others will be ok for her too.  Her two girls are so scared for their mommy, it breaks my heart.

I'm so sorry about your friend.  It's true you never know when your time is up.  I try to live each day to the fullest, but sometimes it's hard.

I know about death at a young age too well.  I was only 2 years old when my father was killed in a terrible accident.  He was only in his 30's and left a young widow and two young children. 

My cousin, who is 62, has dementia and is in a nursing home.  It's bad enough to see an older person with that disease, but someone so young...it tears your heart.  He has no idea who we are, or where he is.

I think just hold your family close to your heart and tell them you love them each and every day, because you don't know if you or they will be here tomorrow.

Are you kidding me?  At my age putting something "extra hot" would kill me.  I'm usually hot most of the time, I'm the one who turns down the heat, up the air, little blankets!  Ask my husband, he can't wait for this phase of my life to be over, and neither can I!

No, I haven't got that message.  What I keep getting is your computer is not connected to the Internet!  It worked fine for a few days, now it won't let me get past that message.  I'm using my old Windows 7 or I Pad.  Guess I will have to have someone check it out!
