I have made many Christmas ornaments through the years, especially being in the Girl Scouts and in Sunday School. My mom still has every one and that was 30+ years ago. Now I have all of my kids ornaments and they truly are the best ornaments we have. I did make construction paper chains and strung popcorn too.

I have grape vines, so I've made little wreaths out of them and glued dried Cecil Brunner rosebuds, sea shells, glitter, ect. When the flowers fade, I dry more and replace them.

We make some with the kids every year and the ones they make in school.  I also have all the ones I made when I was a child.  Needless to say, our tree is always jam packed with ornaments.  I'll never have one of those department store window trees but it's nice for the memories.

I sold homemade angels for years and the ones that didn't sell ended up on my tree. I have one tree with the nicer homemade ornaments and one tree with all the ornaments that my kids have made over the years. One tree is pretty but the other tree is full of the memories of Christmas past.

I make knit and crochet ornaments. Some of my handy work on the tree are mini stockings, snowflakes, wreath, santas, gingerbreadman, snowman, star, and I'm thinking or making a reindeer.

We used to make ornaments.  Some were: cross stitched, tintype, photographs, clothespin horses, beads, saltdough.....they are keepsakes for the memories they gave us!
