How many people wear/need glasses?

Majority of the people I know, including myself, either wear contact or glasses. bad eye site runs in my family on both sides as well. I hate it, in order to see correctly you have to fork out a decent amount money.

 I wear glasses, I think that I have worn glasses since third grade. I am 29 years old now

My vision is not horrible but I still need them to drive or see anything really far away. Unfortunately for me, my daughter broke mine about a year ago and I just haven't really found the interest in going to get a new pair.

I wear glasses.  I got them in 5th grade.

I have worn contacts but now stick to glasses.  I have to have bifocals to read.

EDIT: Or wear contacts, basically, you do not have good vision

I wear contact and started wearing glasses when I was about 6.  I'm blind as a bat without my glasses or contacts.

I wear glasses had them so long I don't think I would wear contacts. I don't want to stick anything in my eye.
