How many people wear/need glasses?

I have had glasses since I was in the 5th grade, I was so excited my 8th grade year when my mom finally let me get contacts I wear my contacts everyday and my glasses a couple times a week now. I've thought about getting colored contacts, buti'm not so sure about it yet. My contacts are Acuvue 2, it's the only kind i'e ever had...is there a better kind??

I'm near-sighted and I also have astigmatism. So I wear either contacts or glasses. I have very bad astigmatism and they make special contacts just for me. Yay! Lol!

I wear glasses, just started wearing contacts about 2 years ago.  Don't wear the contacts that often, still have problems getting it into my right eye; left eye no problems.

Yes, I have to wear glasses! I wear contacts during the day and my glasses at night.

i have a blurr vision and i use glasses.....and am not that comfortable with lenses...
how ever glasses are the best choice...

I'm near-sighted with astigmatism - yep, I wear glasses/contacts.  Have since the 7th grade.

Bit of trivia, according to vision measuring, any vision higher than 500/20 is considered "blind" without correction, but many people can easily correct that vision, which is why that won't qualify for "blindness" on taxes.   


According to that, I'm blind as a bat!  When I go for my eye exam, with my right eye, I can see a dark smudge inside a white blur.  With my left eye, I'm lucky to see the white blur.

I've worn glasses then contacts since I was about 8.  Been wearing contacts for about 13 years and never had a problem with them.
