I think it's a bad idea for kids to play.  To much violent in this society kids learned from their friends and TV plus the stuff they play on their video game.

No I dont think they do. They might make them swear a little more than normal but doesnt make them violent.

I think it is influencial and gives them ideas. But, responsible parenting is what it all boils down too. Gotta talk to your kids daily.

Absolutely yes, no one sees it but look at kids today, compared to  the 60's and 70s.

I've taken three psychology classes, and they all emphasize the impact that video games and television have on children. They want to mimic what they see... and if they're playing videogames like gta.... then yes I think they do give them bad ideas.

Based on my observation of children and grand children.  When they start playing violent video games there is definately a correlation between their behavior becoming more violent.   Unless another influence modifys the behavior being developed by the violent video games they will continure to develope this violent behavior into later life with the undeisrable consequences of becoming just another violent product of their violent environment.  After all we are all influenced by the enironment that we grow up in.

Children learn very quckly, and it seems there are more prone to do wrong than right. I believe violent videos do influence children to become more violent themselves.

I think we could all agree that it all starts with whom >>(adults)>> letting the kids get away with what they may say or do after hearing or seeing something or someone. I remember as a kid that my mom would not permit any cursing or swearing. No sexually movies, Horror, Violent or anything that was not for kids.

ok im 18 now and when i was a kid i watched things like power rangers and as a teen played somewhat violent video games but if your parents raise you correctly and your not mentally messed up you go wow thats *bleep* cool.  you dont go IMA GET GUN AND SHOOT MY BROTHER he will come back to life after i reset life just like in the video game.  so i guess maybe violent video games give insane people ideas but normal people will turn out fine

i believe that the kids imitate things such as the environment around them like their situation at home or maybe their parents responsibility buying violent games for them o.O
As long as their parents teach them properly from what is wrong or right and give as much attention to them. they wont grab a gun and murder ppl lol

 I think it a bad idea to  have kids look and play such video games. Bad ideas are passed on in group setting and from they friends in the school yard. It only takes an agreement to make a bad idea work. Example four kids sitting around one may say 9lets beat him up). If no-one says anything its blow in the air. If one agree then more will follow.

I dont think video games directly affect children acting violent.

I think that parents should teach children the difference between reality and video games from a young age, and if they can't do that, they shouldn't let them play the games.
