Going to mom and dads for shure. Might even get out for the first day of Duck Hunting here. It use to be a tradition to always be on the water Thinksgiving morning to hunt ducks. We haven't been in the last 10 years. But my son wants to go so we will see.

Not going anywhere this year.  Fiance's on call during Thanksgiving, and I'm not going down to see the family and leave him to be alone on a holiday.  Might pick up my 18 y o brother from his college so he's not alone either if he wants; it's 5 hr to him from our home so a bit of a drive, but better that then the 15 hr drive to where the rest of the family is.  ;D

I will be with my family as well but this year we are going to do untraditional we are doing a mexican theme all are food will be mexican oriented instead of turkey and stuffing.  I am excited to see how this turns out.  Happy Thanksgiving to you all

I usually look forward to this time of year but this year I'm not. I'm not sure why though. I think its for a few different reasons. We will either be going over to my Aunts or stay at my place. If we stay at my place then we will go to our Aunts for Christmas. If we go to her place for Thanksgiving then we will do Christmas at my place. I guess it depends on what she wants to do. I am happy to see everyone but I am not as excited as I should be. We will have the food that we usually have and I'm sure a few family members will be late or not show up at all. That always happens near the holidays with my family.

This will be my first Thanksgiving having to make the drive to 2 families since I am a newlywed. So, drive to the hubby's parents and pig out/watch football/nap (the usual) for wednesday and thursday, then drive back home (halfway) on friday, then make the trip to see my family on saturday and sunday and do the whole pig out/watch football/nap (usual) thing again! I am so ready for the wonderful food and family time!  ;D

No plans yet. I'm kind of like a spur of the moment person. Whatever comes up is usually great for me.

I will do what I have  been doing for 20+ years. I make a huge meal (no one is allowed to bring anything but theirselves, whatever they want to drink and their appetites). We usually have anywhere from 30 to 40 people (although 2 years ago we had 43, the most ever!! We got a new house that year and I think everyone wanted to see the new home). I really look forward to it. We do it on Saturday. Even with that many people, I still have plenty of leftovers so that should give you an idea of how much food I make.
