Thanksgiving Day Plans?
« on: November 04, 2016, 07:11:01 pm »
I know.  This might seem a little bit early but who has plans for Thanksgiving Day?

I'm still up in the air; except, I know I want to buy a special kitty dinner for my cat because I'm very thankful for her.

What will you be doing?

Have a great day!

Our family always spends each holiday with my best friend and her family.  Usually it's between 25 and 30 people.  My girlfriend and I take turns hosting every other holiday

Right now it looks like I am going to just cook for my partner and myself and then go to a relative of his later in the day for a dessert buffet!  I am going to keep it pretty basic since there are only the two of us...a small turkey, dressing, either yams or mashed potatoes (not both), and either a salad or a vegetable (not both). We'll have gravy and some kind of bread, too.  I hate to spend the whole day in the kitchen!!  I haven't decided whether I am making or buying the dessert as yet.  Now that I am older I want to enjoy the day also just as many men have for years.

My uncle is going to make this year so I don't have to. I already have a turkey, so that is taken care of. We just have to get the rest of the items for sides. I have to get going on making my cookies and candies since I have not yet!
