Payment Dispute
« on: February 18, 2011, 12:38:35 pm »
I cashed out, my account was approved, and the check was mailed to a p.o. box my sister and i are sharing. We aren't getting along right now so she burned the check. I was wondering how i go about getting my payment reissued, however, I set up a direct deposit now so that incident doesn't reoccur. What do i do, who can i call, someone please help me!!!!!! :-

If you don't have the check in hand, you have to either:
a) wait 6 months for it to become stale dated (I realize that the check is destroyed, but we have no way to verify that)
b) pay $20 for a stop payment on the old check, and get the remaining funds sent via Direct Deposit.

You should indicate which choice you would prefer in a support ticket -- we don't handle personal account issues via the forum.

this could be tricky i dont know what to tell you but the others are right you should put in a ticket. i cant really help to much with that one though because i have never had to put in a ticket but FC is really fair and im sure they will do whatever they can on their end to help you out and be able to get your money! you should set up a pay pal account online they are good and you will get your money sooner. from there you can have the money put into your bank account and you wont have to worry about having to get a check at all waiting for it or someone having to give it to you or anything. i love pay pal its a great trust worthy site and it always works and is most effective way of getting paid and/or spending cash online. please trust me when i tell you that you really should try it out!!! you will never have to worry about something like this every happening to you again

Its when you need some help with a payment issue or you have some other issue that can`t be solved by the forum.

WOW, that's a lot of typing to get 10 cents for posting in the forum. The question was already answered by the Admin and he said he has direct deposit now, so the problem is gone once he waits the six months and gets paid again.

oldbuddy was just doing the math for you.  $3 divided by 30 posts = 10 cents per post.
