I started buying more fruit (variety) vs candy/sweets - so when I had a sweet attack, I'd get used to eating the fruit.  Things like berries or grapes - easy to grab and eat.

Also, recently started to cut up a bunch of fruit (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi) as a fruit topping mix to put over waffles in the morning vs syrup.  After doing that for a few weeks, I tried a waffle with syrup and it just didn't taste as good as the fruit.
