Alcohol=Fun????

I used to not be able to have a good time if alchohol was not in the missed. But I have learn to enjoy myself without it. I have somehow lost the taste for it. I might have a glass of wine here and there, but it is no longer needed for a good time.

Why drink alcohol when you can get drunk on life? I never have understood the need for drinking and drugs? There are so many more things that are health for you why would you want to do something that will ultimately kill you and possibly others when you can just as easily have fun and save money without it?

Nah, I don't need alcohol to have fun.  I think alcohol makes people do stupid things, which is not fun.

No way! I did for awhile when I was younger but saw how badly that sometimes can turn out. I think I just have more confidence in myself in social situations now and that helps that a lot.

I don't think I have to drink to have fun NOW, but I was always sort of socially awkward in my early 20s, and definitely drank too much back then because I felt like I needed it.

you can have fun without it but if you take a responsible and positive approach to drinking it is not as negative as some of you are projecting it to be.

True but most people don't do that. You don't have to worry about drinking too much if you don't have the first one.

When I was in my early twenties, I would drink a glass of wine before going to a party or get together.  I was incredibly shy and it
helped me relax and I could talk to people easier and have fun.  Now I don't need to do that, I can start a conversation with just about anyone.
People always are shocked that I was ever shy.   I don't need alcohol to have fun but I do enjoy it on occasion

I have a saying and that is: "If you need to get *bleep* drunk just to have fun, you're probably a boring person". Sorry if I offend anyone, that's how I feel about it though from my past experiences.
