Do you drink alcohol ?

I know so many people that go to the gym and work out to stay in shape and look good. These same people also drink like a fish. WHY drink to mess up your liver? yet exercise to stay in shape? the inside is just as important as the outside isn't it? ....sorry I jus think a lot lol

Not anymore,     I did at one time. Trying to forget the death of my children. Finally woke up to the fact that it was going to kill me. So I quit cold Turkey. One day I just said that is it and  never  drink another drop. Now  just the thought of it  turns my stomach. Let along smelling it.

Vicky I am so sorry for your loss   I wish I could give you a big hug. I applaud you for giving up drinking and i'm sure your Angels helped you in that area. They are watching over their Mom for sure.

Yes I do...only on social occasions, so therefore I am a social drinker.

I haven't for 7 years. I did when I was young, too young. Glad I quit when I did.

Only when I go out and that's rare.  I don't like the taste of alcohol but I like getting a little drunk sometimes especially when I'm out with my friends having fun.  I like fruity drinks where I can't taste the alcohol so much.

I agree. My sister in law goes to the gym twie a day every day for at least an hour but she's borderline a functioning alcoholic. I don't understand why anyone would drink so much and then work out so hard afterwards. It just doesn't make sense to me.

no i dont...i grew up in a house of drinkers...i have no interest in it...my grandmother died from alcoholism...seen firsthand what it can do in all ways

I used to drink a lot when I was in grad school, but quit once I got pregnant. I didn't want to be a mother who wasn't alert at all times in case anything bad happened to her children. I haven't had a drink of any kind in 38 years and don't miss it at all.

I drink alcohol only very occasionally...like an average of maybe two drinks per month.  It is mostly a glass of wine that is my downfall.  But since I don't drink in excess and wine is suppose to be good for the heart, I don't think it is a problem at all.  By the way, a Kahlua and cream (2 percent milk for me) is a must have for special occasions or to treat yourself.

I've never had a taste of alcohol, just something I never wanted to do. Maybe I'll have a glass on my wedding day

I do not drink alchohol either.  My husband drank a lot when he was in school so I tried beer....YUCK!  I just don't like the taste of smell of it.  I've tried mixed drinks when out with friends, but never found anything I cared for; so I just don't drink at all.
