I need it on to fall asleep. I've got a sleep timer on mine that will shut off automatically

If I lay down on the couch with the tv on and i'm real tired i will fall asleep for about 10-15 minuets. The noise puts you into some kind of relaxation mode that just knocks you out.  But, I have no problem falling asleep without the tv either.

O boy, is this forum right up my aisle falling asleep with the TV on, I don't know if is psychopath or psychological, but I know I need professional HELP.  My electric bill really dislike me extremely, but I am trying to get out of this bad habit.

I don't have a TV in my room anymore so I have to say no.  But when I did, I always felt that it helped me fall asleep even though I hear it does the exact opposite.

I cannot sleep with the tv on.  The light flashing all the time really makes me fight to go to sleep.  Sometimes I just cover my head with a blanket.
