Sweet Potatoe Pie or Casserole

I love Sweet potato pie that’s my favorite.

since i have to choose between these two, i saw sweet potato pie... yum

I prefer my mom's grated sweet potato casserole any day over sweet potato pie.  She made it when I was growing up and it is now a tradition at our house for Thanksgiving.  I usually end up making extra to take to parties.  Full of pecans and maple syrup.  Yum!  Having some for supper tonight.

I didn't use a recipe. I just "make & bake"...lol

I boil 4-5 large potatoes in water, then after cooked thoroughly, peel the skin.
Mash potatoes (like regular mashed potatoes) & add a stick of butter,a pinch of salt, a generous amount of cinnamon (don't be stingy)& Splenda or Splenda Brown sugar to taste. (I mainly use plain Slenda)
Whip all together with mixer.
Place in pie pans & sprinkle with MORE cinnamon...mmmmmmm
Bake approx 20min


Thats it! Tastes so yummy!
