I'm horrible at wrapping, so usually I just bag it up.

i have a slight addiction with wrapping paper.
i LOVE it. if i can wrap it, it's getting wrapped!
i put oddly shaped or soft things in bags...

funny thing is, i can't wrap worth crap  :sad1:
i try, but the cute paper makes up for (and hides)
my mess, lol.
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

i think wrapping gifts is awesome because of the anticipation and excitement involved with opening them.  ;D

Haha, I usually do both, wrapped and bagged. I like wrapping gifts, because it keeps it hidden. I like bagged gifts, because its like an extra gift, a reusable gift. I've been given so many gifts bags, I like to reuse them, but not with the same person, unless if its part of a gag or joke. ;D

We do both ways, I guess what ever works best for a particular gift.

I would say to gift wrap if it's for a child and gift bag for an adult or for both.  I'm just too lazy to gift wrap so I usually just use a gift bag.

It really depends on the gift.  I wrap most of my gifts but sometimes I find a cute little gift bag for a small item.  I end up wrapping it anyway and then putting it in the gift bag.  Sometimes if I don't want to really wrap it I 'fake' wrap it by wrapping tissue paper around it then putting it in the gift bag.

If I had my choice I would put everything in a bag.  Yes, I am lazy.  But I have a ton of wrapping paper that I probably couldn't use up in thirty years so I will use it since I have it, instead of buying the bags.
