I drink socially, at the most.  I would say I have a few drinks a year.  No smoking for me!

No smoking, or ihaling anything toxic in the lungs..(crack and weed cause lung cancer too) But drinking must be in extrem moderation. If every day, limiting to one drink or 6 oz of wine per day would be ok...no double shots! Oh and ladies....recent studies have shown ( and this applies to females only) Consuming more than one alcoholic beverage per day increases breast cancer risk..You can verify that one online.

I smoke but I have to go outside so it doesn't affect my children, or leave my house smelling. I have an occasional drink-which in extreme moderation has proved healthy. My father smoked 3 packs a day, BUT he worked 90 hours a week and hunted, fished etc. He had a stroke at 41, wasn't the cigarettes as much as the stress-he's a police officer and had a horrible temper. He did not touch alcohol. His DOCTOR advised a glass of wine at night. My father eventually did quit smoking but before he QUIT, his blood pressure lowered with less work and relaxation, he had little risk of stroke. Ever seen grumpy old men, where the 'grandpa' smoked, drank and ate bacon everyday but was calm with his life, etc. I am not saying cigarettes and booze don't killl. THEY DO, never met either of my grandfathers because of booze etc. Like everything in life, try moderation and don't stress the little things.

Well I smoke and it really irritates me to have people lecture on the effects of smoking I smoke because it keeps me from doing stupid *bleep* smoking is an addiction and it is hard to stop but one day i hope to ....just not today nor tomorrow.... I always say if I die at least I died doing something I WANTED i have tried to stop but ummm not good brought a new word to pms lol and just because you smoke does not mean you have no respect for yourself or others you do it for your own reasons and if someone is going to judge you for it oooh well everyone has habits that irritate people the way they laugh, the way they talk, and others does not make them less of a person. Just not fun to be around.

Neither, but if I had to pick, it would be drinking.  Just an occasional one, though.

I used to do both but after 10 years I quit and my health improved a lot. No  more allergies and not getting sick all the time. No more stomach probles and my 's" drive got better. It's not easy to quit, but anybody can do it if they put the guts and effort.

I used to drink on occassion but stopped once i started having kids. I never smoked because my grandfather smoked and i never really liked the smell. My boyfriend smokes but doesn't consider himself a smoker. :dontknow:

I don't drink or smoke (I'm only 18 1/2). I would definitely choose drinking, though. You just have to be responsible. Cigarette smokers start to smell charcoal-ey or smokey. Eeeew!
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)
