a friend of mine house was robbed last night while they was out at the movies i feel so bad for them they took jewelery cash tvs and presents from them i think people should really stop and think how they would feel if it happened to them but i guess thats the way some people are wired to just feel they can take from people who work for all that they got

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, i know how she feels it happened to me one chrismast eve. They took all the present that we have under the tree and the TV.

Yes, years ago the restaurant I worked for was robbed. We were all personally robbed as well as the business.

Two different houses we lived in got broken into.  The first time they stole a stereo my brother had just given my for Xmas and the TV I believe.  I don't remember everything they took.  I was just a kid.  The second house they took some jewelry of mine and some other things.  The jewelry wasn't worth anything but it had sentimental value.  They took a necklace my favorite aunt gave me and a bracelet my grandmother gave to my mother who gave it to me.  We were selling the house so it had a lock box with a key in it for the real estate agent on the front door.  They thought it had to be someone familiar with those things that could have gotten access to the key.  

Oh yes a third time was when my car was broken into.  I had just stopped by my bf's house to either drop off or pick up something so I just parked the car on the side and jumped out.  I was gone less than five minutes.  There was a problem with the passenger side door locks so that's how they got in.  They took my backpack which had my wallet and everything.  My backpack and wallet was recovered a few days later it was all wet because they threw near a stream or something.

My house was broken into on 4 occasions, my car was broken into on 3 occasions and I was personally mugged on 3 occasions as well. I have to say that this all happened in South Africa though. Since I've moved here.......no problem. I still marvel that one can leave stuff on the front porch at night or forget to lock one's vehicle in the road and they are still there in the morning!

 Yes it happen to me. It was around xmas time and I had park my truck at the side of Target. I had just bought my kids some cristmas gift and other family members. When I got to my truck all the gifts where gone. They didn't have to brake the window. They found away to do it without braking the window. I was so sad. My child where more sad than I was.

yes, been robbed at a convenience store where I worked (that one was on the scary side) and once my home was basically wiped out.  I was moving to get married so already had stuff packed in boxes, the 80 year old woman next door actually came over and offered the robbers a glass of iced tea (she thought they were moving me).  That part was almost funny however losing keepsakes is not funny.  I had things I had collected since I was a little girl, I had things my Dad gave me who was deceased by then, people stink sometimes.

I haven't been held up but someone broke into my house when I was gone.  They snatched out the living room air conditioner and entered that way.  They stole a hat that I had from my Dad that is deceased that's what really hurt.  But other than that they stole a playstation 3 and my sausage and pancakes!!

Thank God I've never been robbed and I hope it stays that way.  My sister's place was robbed 2 times in the same week.  I think most of the time it's someone who's been inside your home or knows your schedule.  I'm about to move to Texas and I'm definitely getting security.

That's how I felt when I looked around.  I felt like it was someone who knew I was gonna be gone for a while.  It's sad but you just can't trust people these days.  I know people feel like the economy is bad but people are acting like they are desperate!!!!  I guess it's like the old saying goes keep your friends close and your enemies even closer.  Just watch everybody!!!

My garage was broken into a few years ago.  Thankfully never my home.  About 30 years ago I was living in South Bakersfield and a guy tried to break in while I was home.  I even yelled out a few time that I was going to call the police, but that didn't stop them.  When I finally announced that i was holding a shotgun and would shoot the first person that came through the door, the guy left my door alone and went away.  I was glad I had a shot gun and knew how to use it.

One of my buddies robbed me once took over two thousand from my room which I was going to deposit, later on I found out that he took it yet he claims he did not do it when I mark most of my bills for in case well now I don't need to see that *bleep* again that's the only up side the down side is I will get to spend that two thousand
