I did have a stationary bike, but it broke.   I have to get another one soon.

Last summer I used a stationary bike to loose weight. I lost 10 pounds in two months just using the bike. Downfall is you have t o ride for a long period of time each day just toget results.

I have one that I try to ride for 30 minutes daily.  A past co-worker lost 100 pounds using the same bike. :)

Would love to have one to use at home while watching tv.  Especially for days when I can't get outside to exercise.  I used to use the ones at the gym, and it seemed like a good workout to me.

I use a stationary bike among other machines when I am exercising at the gym, so I'm sure I'm losing some weight. As to solely using a stationary bike I don't think I can as I need to rotate between machines to keep myself interested.

We tried for awhile, we found it much more enjoyable to just go on walks.

Whenever I can't go mountain biking I hook my bike up to a stationary stand. It gets boring, but I usually put on a movie or listen to music to entertain myself. If you keep at it, you will definitely lose weight.

Nope, I prefer to walk in a park.  It's free, plus stationary bikes take up too much room.

I could never stay on it long enough to really lose much weight.  :D

I'd start thinking about what all needed doing and next thing you know, I'd be off it and scrubbing the bathroom! Or the kitchen floor. Or washing windows.
