smoker til I can't do it anymore, funny the Indians smoked and they lived long... think it's in the genes.. I like my bad habit and am keeping it...

I am a non-smoker who loves the smell of tobacco being burned but hate the smell of stale smoke on my clothes (like after going clubbing or to a casino).  When I was growing up my Mother was a chain smoker.  Unbelievable amounts of cigarettes burned and smoked.  She was a somewhat tidy and fastidious smoker...there weren't burn marks all over everything like I sometimes see in smoker's houses. It would be difficult to find a cigarette butt any where in the house or in the yard.  You would be hard pressed to even find a butt in the garbage can.  There are so many inconsiderate smokers out there that don't follow any kind of tidiness etiquette.

My brother and I used to smoke here and there never a lot but my mom did so we quit to prove to her that she could and to not tempt her to smoke.

I've smoked part of a cigarette once, when I was a senior in high school.  Didn't like the taste or experience at all.  Haven't smoked one since then.  I have a friend whose mom is dying of end-stage emphysema from smoking, and it's a great reminder of why I don't smoke.  Smoking probably shortened her life by 5-10 years.  It definitely ruined her quality of life for the last 3 years.

I have smoke for about 30 yrs and it is a very nasty habit I wish I had the willpower to quit. Any suggestions I will try!!!! I have tried Chantix that is a very good product but I guess I didn't really want to quit

Don't smoke, never smoked. Trying to get my husband to quit or at least switch to the electronic ones.

I am a non-smoker. Infact I have trouble breathing around smokers.
I realize for many smokers It is an addiction and hard to quit. To me is it is one of the worst habits a person can have.
I hope all smokers who want to are able to stop smoking soon.

The Indians weren't smoking pesticides and formaldehyde and God only knows what else along with their tobacco.
