I usually get mine from the stores.  I've tried several things and can't think of any regrets.  Here's a few examples.

One Sweep broom is terrific for my furry household.  Great for touching up the carpet between vacuuming and it doesn't scare the kitties.

Side Socket is solving the wiring problem in my bedroom, behind the bed.

Got the shape wear bra that comes one to a package (get the two names mixed up and it's not on the product).  I like it enough I'd get another one if I see my size again.

The Roto Saw was good, but I had to sell it.

There's a few on these days I'd like too.

Some of the stuff looks good. They have stores in certain areas if you don't want to order off of tv.

If you are not in a hurry, you may find these items in stores later.  Also, check flea markets for some of the less expensive items.  Once the TV market has been "milked," these items often find their way into discount stores and flea markets, sometimes at reduced prices.  There are some specialty shops that are totally for TV-advertised products.  The name is something like "As Advertised on Television"-- I do not recall exactly, but you get the idea.  I have seen them in a large mall or two.

I have bought some "As seen on Tv" products from stores like Bed, Bath and Beyond. I don't like to pay shipping for any item, when you can get them at your local store.

Sometimes I will try something that looks good but usually wait till it comes out in one of the stores .. I have never ordered one online.
