how do you ask some one to move out.

If your renting to a friend or family memeber and they seem to be doing things you don't like in your home and yet they don't have any place to go but you want them to move how would you go about telling them to get out. If its a family member that you extended the space to whom has had prior problems  and is now staying at your house and you are noticing habits that you don't like how do you ask them to leave without hurting the bond between you?

 I would say... " I love you, and I don't want to end up killing you, but this living together just won't workout."  maybe that will work !!!!!

It might be easier for you to move out instead....lol. At least it would be for me, I'm not very good about hurting families feelings...and I have a hard time saying no to them.

If it were me, family or not, if their habits are some habits that would get me in trouble or would cause me discomfort, I'd simply say, "Hey. Pack your crap and get the heck out of my house. Now." But if it's just habits that might make me unhappy, I'd talk to them first, and try to find a way to resolve the issue.

pack their things up when they are gone, set them outside and change the locks!
o.k...this has happened to me before and i used the excuse "my landlord asked if you are visiting or living here?"  so, you need to find your own place soon...it gets the ball rolling
if this is your place and you're not a renter, you might just have to be honest and say that it's not working out...tell them what you have told us, that you want to approach this situation in a way that doesn't upset anyone's feelings. then offer this: "i'll help you find a new place."

Tell them that you like them and love them and everthing but now it's time to venture off on their own.Explain how your home is your sanctuary and everyone should have their own.
If they can't read in between the lines then sometimes your left with no choice then to say I need for you to GET OUT!!!!
