« on: January 15, 2014, 03:10:54 am »
Do you prefer walking outdoors or mall walking? i  like both but prefer
To get up early morning and walk at the mall. It is so peaceful, i put my earbugs
In my ear and listen to my mp3 player. It's been a little while
Since i walked in the mall. In the summer i walk around my subdivision.

When the weather permits we would rather walk outdoors. The only mall walking we do is for shopping! And I hate mall shopping!

I have never mall walked for exercise.....malls are 30 miles away.

I enjoy walking outside, weather permitting.

The outside is the best, but if you live in a cold weather state and the temperature is being absolutely awful, specially this season, then the mall it will be the best place to go

I much prefer walking outside, but I also have a dog that I need to walk.  :dog:  Nothing beats walking outside on a sunny morning in Texas!

I prefer walking outside and I do that in the spring, summer, and fall.  In the winter, I go to the gym....occasionally.
I tried mall walking once, but I kept stopping in the stores to shop, and that doesn't contribute to the benefits of walking.

walking outdoors!
close to where i live there is a park and it is absolutely lovely. it was originally a mansion owned by an architect and he has  a lotttt of land. his driveway was super long so people walk, run and bike there. there's also lots of grass for sports and woods for hiking/exploring. they used to hold christmas lights there (you'd drive through thousands of lights) and still have concerts and things like polo matches there.
without a doubt my favorite place

While walking outdoors is always much more fun, sometimes the environment can make it near impossible especially if you are "sensitive" to allergens in the air.  On the other hand, walking indoors, like in a gym on a treadmill, can be a better environment sometimes.

I love walking. I could be anywhere, around the block, at a mall, or anything else I love it all.

Neither. If I am walking outside, I am heading to a store and I don't visit malls just to walk around.

Outside walker here.  :)

It's just a little problematic when the snow and ice are around.  :(

Both.  Walking in nice sunny fresh air weather outdoors is great and mall walking when the weather isn't good outside.
