I avoid the doctors like the plague.  neither me or my husband or my child go to the doctor.  i go every 2 years for the wonderful female check up lol but other then that i will pass.  we dont even get our child vaccinated because we personally feel it is like putting a poison into your system.   my child is 14 months old and has never had any illness at all but several of our friends who have had their children vaccinated have been to the doctors or have had several hospital stays hmm wonder whats up with that?

Idk.  But vaccines have eliminated things like Polio that use to kill a lot of people.  How do you get by with not doing the vaccines?  Are they not a requirement to enter school?

It depends what for.  If I just have a cold, then I don't unless I need a note.  I haven't had anything more serious though so there hasn't been much need for a doctor.  Some people I know though have needed a doctor though, and I'm happy when they at least go and see what they say.  I've always told people that when they go to the doctor, if they aren't happy with what they are told, they need to either get a second opinion or ask for other options.

Obviously I haven't had to fight a doctor to listen to me, but I don't quite get how hard it is to say that you don't agree with their decision and want a different course of action or want to at least hear a different course of action.

I only go to the doctor if I absolutely have too. I take herbs, vitamins and supplements to ward of colds and such. It works very well.

I have no problem going to the Drs. I've seen so many get help by them and I think they wouldn't be here if they didn't go!!

I go to the doctor.  I try not to go unless I get really sick but I have a weak immune system so when I get sick if it doesn't go away too soon I usually end up with more sickness.
