I went to the Golden Corral for the first time last month.  I thought the Hometown Buffet was much better.   I think it is over rated & it was like $15.99 per adult not including a beverage, which was an additional $1.99.  Kids were $8.49 including drinks, but my kids only got water as they don't drink soda...  which is all they had to offer.    You can't sample all the food they had, so you'd need to go back, some dishes I had were okay others were way too salty...  who can eat all that food, & it is way to expensive to keep going back...  It'd cost a fortune to taste it all.  The salad area was dismal... I went with a vegetarian, who couldn't find too much to eat.    I doubt I'd go back to this buffet, but I do love a good buffet occasionally... I don't eat my money's worth, but I enjoy sampling a variety of food.

buffets tend to be very expensive. if you have teenagers or people that eat a lot buffets can sometimes be cost effective.
I don't eat that much food at one time. I would rather go to a restaurant and take 1/2 the meal home. :rose: :rainbow: :peace:

I use to do that when I went out to eat with my parents years ago. I never really liked the places. :-\

Once in a while I love to go to Golden Corral.  They have the best buffet in this area and have a large variety of food.  I don't go often because I tend to eat more than I should when I go.

I don't go very often.  I just can't seem to eat enough in order to make it worthwhile.  I get full too fast.

We rarely eat at buffet type restaurants.

Some restaurants have salad buffet as an option so I utilize the buffet for that.

Even some grocery stores have a nice buffet near their deli or in-store restaurant.  Hy-Vee has a great one.  I like the fresh fruit section!

I used to eat more at buffets when I was younger - there were more varied ones around here then. I only have a couple Chinese style ones around me now and have gone for lunch sometimes. The food is ok, but I prefer a nice sit- down restaurant.

We occasionally eat at buffets, but there aren't too many around here, and we rarely eat out anyway. When travelling, I always try to go to Golden Corral. They have an awesome selection, and I actually like most of what they offer! (especially in the South). I never really get my money's worth from buffets, because I don't eat much, but at least I get to have a variety of different things, and pick out the stuff I like (yes, I'm a very fussy eater!)

My favorite buffet is our Chinese buffet.  They have the best black pepper chicken, sea salt/black pepper shrimp and wontons!
Have a wonderful day!

I eat at buffets.  My favorite is Golden Corral, which was also my Mom's favorite.  We used to eat there quite often.  I don't go as much since she passed.

I will go to Golden Corral once in a while. It needs to be clean for me to really enjoy it.

I find i dont go to many anymore,i find i just end up eating too much and feel sick after.Usually i go to an asian or indian buffet if i am with other people so we can all pick our own food.Up here in Canada there are a lot of Japanese all u can eat but it is by ordering and if you want more you just keep ordering but you can not leave any leftover food or you have to pay extra so there is no waste.I prefer al la carte places but its ok once in a while.

I like to eat buffet. :)  Just enjoy all the food there.  What ever I don't like I just don't take them.  Sometime just ignore what ever in your food just eat them.  the more you scare the more you cannot eat anything :)
