We usually don't get them.   There aren't any kids on my street.  We don't give out candy anyway.  Did you get any?

If you don't give out candy of course you didn't get trick or treaters.  Most kids go to more than just their street.  I don't know why but there are never any that come up our street.  But I have a friend that lives in a big open neighborhood and he said they had over 200.

I've heard quite a few people say they got no trick-or-treaters in my area, and the few they did get, weren't dressed up.  That's so strange, usually every year I see many out & about.  The weather was decent.  Not sure why none this year.....

Goodness. I purchased $25 worth of chocolate candy from Walmart and it was gone in 40 minutes! So I was scratching around the house for less favored candy and I found some smarties and jolly ranchers at the back of my cupboard. Of course these candies are smaller so I gave out 3  or 4 at a time, but it was an expensive evening! I have noticed that some kids grab a whole handful, while others just reach for one candy. One time, I went trick or treating with my 2 kids and as I wasn't home, I left a bucket full of candy on a chair. When I came home, there was not one wrapper in sight. I felt quite sad that someone felt it necessary to empty my bucket.

My area has gotten particularly dangerous over the years. Nobody comes trick or treating anymore.
