Dan's Cartoons Site Has Been Hacked

Have you noticed that Dan's Cartoons site has been hacked on the PTC?  It is being held for ransom.

I know when I went on the page today that the cartoon would not load, but I still got credit for going on that page.

I haven't been able to see it for a few days now but it always gives me credit for clicking the link anyway

I've noticed it hasn't been there for several days.  Also the "entertainment" page is no longer loading everything.  But like others, I still get credit for them.

Over the last few days, yes, I have noticed that the cartoon box does not load at all.  I thought it was on my end in that I had to update my system.

Now that I see that I'm not the only one experiencing this, I suppose it's not on my end.

I noticed the comic wasn't loading, didn't know it was hacked!  Is this what happened to the Entertainment page as well?

Never heard of the site.. I guess the hackers who held the site ransom would probably asked to be paid out in Monero or Bitcoin... More difficult to trace than the wire transfer

The entertainment page is the same way. I don't think it's hacked per say. FC probably hasn't got the page programmed in properly or something.

I believe the 'programming' story over 'being held for ransom' story.  But I am laughing nonetheless.  That's really a good one -- being held for ransom, that is.
