Quality Control
« on: October 01, 2017, 10:43:41 am »
Sometimes when I'm doing a survey, I'm looking forward to the quality control questions.

I swear they crack me up!!!!   :glasses-nerdy: :glasses-nerdy:

Today, for example, I was asked when was the last time I had tea with Queen Elizabeth... Funny thing is I love that genre of movies and books... so I've had tea with the Queen and her family many times..... errrrrr, well in my day dreams... hahaha

Also today I was asked when was the last time I had shoes for breakfast... lol, so funny, but if you ask my brother, he could probably say "just this morning" hahaha,,, YES, that's a knock at his wife's terrible cooking... He also has leather for dinner and socks for lunch,,,, YES, it's that bad, but sometimes he's so hungry he has to eat it!!!!
.... but seriously, even the dog ignores her cooking and there's always leftovers!!!!

But one of my favorite QC questions was.. "when was the last time you had a boiled snow cone" A BOILED SNOW CONE!  :-\ :o :o

Anyhoo, the moral of the story is......read every question thoroughly!!! hahaha  ....

Yeah, the quality control questions are usually pretty ridiculous questions. I tend to enjoy them as well when they come up in surveys.

Yes,these quality control questions will keep your attention on the survey. The funniest one I've ever had was,"Have you ever been involved in an accident that resulted in your death?". ;D

I bump into those silly questions all the time. It's just the survey advertiser's way of making sure the person is an actual person paying full attention and to weed out robots. If answered wrong, the person or bot is automatically disqualified.

Yea, I know what you mean!  I've been tempted to check that I carpeted my ceiling just last month, for example.  I might as well since I get a pile of DQ's anyway!!  Today I must have about 20 (I didn't count)!!!

they are very funny... one I get is something like "when is the last time you carpeted your ceiling?"  funny enough, I did do that in the 70's  lol... don't ask, but I know if I say I have I'll be dq'd so I say I haven't

Have you ever accidentally chosen a wrong answer and got punished by a loss of points?

I did once, and I lost like thirty points.

All because I was in a hurry, and before I could correct my mistake, whoosh!

I did not do THAT twice . . .

Are you saying that they actually took other earned points (money) away from you for not paying attention? I didn't think they could do that, so I wonder if I am misunderstanding your experience.

Yoursurveys has quality points. The lower you drop the less opportunities you have to complete their surveys.  You only get one point for completing a survey but they'll take 20 away so it takes a while to go back up
